A visit to the famous dam and “salmon ladder”, a browse for first class souvenirs, or an evening at the Theatre, are only a few minutes away by car, or a leisurely walk along the signed footpath through the “pass” and the around the shore of Loch Faskally. A worthwhile experience, even if only once. Our guests can take advantage of the opportunities of many facilities, - from culture to sport, activity or leisure, - fishing is readily available, both wild brown trout and salmon- skiing in the Cairngorms - highland pony trekking - Monro adventure or a ranger guided walk to fully appreciate the diversity of the scenery and wildlife around you- and for those with Retail Therapy in mind, the House of Bruar is located a few miles North.
